NOTA PARA A COMUNICAÇÃO SOCIAL
Foi com bastante apreensão que o Senhor Professor Doutor Pedro Teta constatou que, há uns tempos a esta parte, algumas pessoas, ainda não identificadas, criaram um perfil falso no Facebook, em seu nome, utilizando a sua foto e outros dados pessoais.

Através desse perfil, têm, de forma irresponsável, ilegal, ilícita e abusiva, interagido com a sociedade e prestado informações falsas tanto a respeito da sua vida pessoal como sobre a sua actividade profissional.
Será despiciendo descrever as implicações práticas potencialmente nocivas de alguém se fazer passar por uma outra pessoa nas redes sociais (existente ou não no mundo real), para disseminar o ódio e a mentira, violando deliberadamente a ciberidentidade de terceiros, mormente quando não existe qualquer correspondência entre o perfil cibernético com a personalidade real.
Tendo em conta a gravidade da situação, os órgãos policiais competentes já foram notificados do caso e, neste momento,
o Serviço de Investigação Criminal (SIC) já está a trabalhar no sentido de investigar e identificar os presumíveis autores de tais práticas, para serem responsabilizados criminalmente.

Por outro lado, o Facebook já foi notificado no sentido de banir ou remover as contas falsas dos indivíduos ou organizações que têm transgredido e violado as normas de utilização da sua plataforma digital, com a maior urgência possível.
